Charles Hodges joined the SIU College of Business in 2015. He came to the SIU College of Business with an extensive background in teaching online delivered courses with the University of West Georgia (UWG) and Georgia State University. While at UWG, he was awarded the Annual Faculty Teaching Award and the Annual Faculty Research Award.
Hodges earned his B.S in Leisure Services, his MBA with a concentration in Finance and his Ph.D. in Finance all from Florida State University. He is a managing partner for Fairlie-Poplar Associates and has served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.
Hodges research interests include corporate finance and behavioral finance.

Dr. Dennis G. Nasco joined the Southern Illinois University College of Business in 2006. Dr. Nasco brings a variety of real-world corporate Human Resource experience to the college.
A native of Florida, Dr. Nasco earned his Doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University, an MSHRM (MBA) from Purdue University and a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Florida. Current Professor in the core classes UCOL 101 and BUS 302 for the SIU College of Business. These classes entail the ground floor for all students to build off of while gaining experience and knowledge in their stay at Southern.
Additionally, Dr. Nasco teaches Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management courses online and on campus in conjunction with the Management department.
